We had the privilege of meeting Daniele Lauria, the visionary mind behind the renowned Studio Lauria Network, for a relaxed yet deeply stimulating conversation. Daniele gave us a privileged insight into the design philosophies and innovative projects that are shaping the future of architecture and urban planning, with a constant focus on sustainability.
Thank you, Giorgio, it's a pleasure. Studio Lauria Network operates on several fronts: from restoring historic buildings to designing new constructions and urban planning. Florence, our base, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. But our interest extends far beyond, as shown by our commitment to an urban planning project for Shkodër. Diversity is our strength.
Today, I would like to focus on the restyling of the Coverciano federal technical centre. It's an exciting project that incorporates greenery not only in the outdoor spaces but also on the buildings' roofs, blending them harmoniously with the surrounding environment.
Absolutely. And not just on the outside. In Brazil, for example, we are developing a sustainable house where greenery permeates every space, inside and out. It's a complex challenge, but we firmly believe in the added value of greenery, not just for aesthetics but as a vital element of living spaces.
Yes, lately the word "elastic" perfectly describes our approach. The architecture and urban planning we propose aim to be flexible, able to adapt to rapid changes in needs and uses of spaces, as highlighted by the recent experience of the pandemic.
The pleasure was all mine, Giorgio. See you soon.
With this vision of the future, sustainability, and adaptability, Daniele Lauria and Studio Lauria Network continue to set new standards in the world of architecture and urban planning, promising to leave an indelible mark on the landscape of our cities and on how we live and interact with the spaces around us.
