In the world of interior design, innovation and care become central elements in creating spaces that not only reflect the practical needs of clients but also convey a sense of freshness and lightness. In this interview, we'll explore this combination of elements through the work of Patrizia Vaccaro from ARCHISPRITZ, a studio known for its ability to bring a breath of freshness to the field of interior design.
ARCHISPRITZ is dedicated to architecture and primarily interior design, bringing a breath of freshness and lightness to this field. It's myself and a colleague, Annalisa Barbera; I operate in Turin and she in the province of Biella.
I want to talk about a somewhat unusual project: a dental studio in Cuneo. Our enlightened client wanted something different from the usual sterile studio. So, we used colours like white for light, blue to calm, and green to relax. In the waiting room, we integrated nature sounds and mint aromas, using a floral-themed wallpaper that simulates an enchanted forest and velvet seats in shades of blue and green. The reception features a sage green three-dimensional tile counter and a painterly decoration of stylised trees.
Green is a key element. We use it as if it were a building block, integrating design with plants that vary and influence the environment, making it alive. Plants are not just decorations but integral parts of interior architecture.
I would say "care". In ARCHISPRITZ, we do everything with care and passion, ensuring even the smallest details are perfect. This work also means taking care of people and the spaces they inhabit.
