In an enlightening conversation with Claudio Nardi, founder of Claudio Nardi Architects, we explore the depths of his design philosophy and how greenery and multiplicity are intertwined in his projects, creating spaces that go beyond mere function to touch the souls of those who inhabit them. From the historic district of Florence to the artistic heart of Krakow, Claudio guides us through an architectural journey of discovery, where each space tells a story of tradition and innovation.
Claudio Nardi Architects was born from my passion for architecture and the desire to create spaces that speak to people. We are particularly attracted to the architectural scale, but we also like to explore the territory of masterplans. Our goal has always been to merge functionality and beauty, creating places where people want to spend their time.
For me, greenery is not just an ornament but a central aspect of the project, rich in philosophical and ideological meanings. I'm inspired by examples like the Guinigi Tower in Lucca, where greenery becomes a symbol of life and an integral element of the architecture.
"Multiplicity" is my keyword. I'm fascinated by the idea of uniting tradition and modernity, creating a space that is both unique and part of a broader dialogue. The influence of Carlo Scarpa in my educational journey taught me the importance of combining different elements harmoniously.
Thank you, Claudio, for sharing your vision and projects with us. It's been a pleasure.
Thank you.
From this conversation, Claudio Nardi's passion for architecture that communicates, respects the past while projecting towards the future, and can be both a refuge and a meeting point, emerges clearly. Claudio Nardi Architects continues to inspire with its vision of a space that celebrates life in all its forms, demonstrating that architecture can truly enrich human existence.
